Hello out there! Things have been super busy around here and I have many more photos to share with you from the end of 2014. For now though, I just wanted to check in and wish everyone a happy holiday season.

To all of my 2014 brides. I want to thank you all of letting us be a part of your special day this year. I got to meet a lot of great and beautiful people this year and each wedding was special and memorable in their own way. I have been going through the photos and am looking forward to sharing my “Year End Review” with you in a couple weeks!

I hope all of the newlyweds have a wonderful holiday this year. The first holiday you share together as a married couple may not seem so different than the last but take time to make special memories this year. Make new traditions and enjoy this new part of life together!

To all of the 2015 brides. I am so excited to learn about your upcoming weddings and to get to know you in the coming months before your big day. I wish you good tidings as well! Remember to take time with you family and friends and enjoy this special time of year. The planning and decisions can be put off for a little while so you can spend these days with your loved ones worry free and full of fun!

I will be enjoying this Christmas with my little family here in Pittsburgh. My son Reed is 3 now and is super excited about Santa’s visit to our house. This will also be the first Christmas with our 8 month old son Cole. I am looking forward to seeing their smiles and all the fun times along side my awesome husband. This is our 11th holiday season together and I can’t wait to spend some extra time with him.

Happy New Year!

I hope everyone has been enjoying themselves throughout the holiday season. I wanted to share some fun stories and a few of my favorite photos from this past wedding season. It has a been a really fun and fast year and I have been lucky to share the day with just over 30 brides!

The year started with a few snow loving January brides. I got to style hair for Courtney, Sera and Lindsay on their chilly but awesome wedding days. Here is a photo of Lindsay’s awesome side swept style.

In March, I spent the day with the lovely Chaya. Her full and classic style updo was definitely one of my favorites for the year.

For the month of April, I don’t have any photos of brides to share with you because I spent most of the month hanging out with my boys. I gave birth to my second son on April 8th.

I was able to sneak out of the house in May. Mary was a super sweet bride and I was happy to style her hair!

June is always thought of as a great month for weddings. This year there were some great ones! Karen, Nicole and Karrie had great updos in mind for the walk down the aisle.

Official “wedding season” had definitely began by time I got to hang out with Jackie, Connie, Lindsay and Leslie for their July weddings. Each of these ladies were super fun. I loved the little surprises like the plate of wedding cookies from Jackie’s mom or the handmade buttons from Connie. Leslie’s carnival themed wedding was so adorable, I wanted to take it all home with me!

August has been the craziest and busiest month for at least 3 years now. Laura was a hilarious and very chill bride with amazing curly red hair. Ashley’s 7Springs wedding was also great fun. Megan’s super classy updo was perfect. I don’t know that I have ever laughed more while styling hair than I did for Jenny and her bridal party. Rhiannon and her MOH brought tears to my eyes seeing how their life long friendship made them so emotionally happy. Kristina’s hair and venue were definitely favorites of mine for this year. It was an awesome month!

Things definitely did not slow down in September. Elaina and Lynsey both chose to wear really fun updos. Molly was a fun bride and her flowing, curly style reflected that perfectly. Kris kept her style super sleek and classy while Ashley had braids and lots of texture for her rustic wedding in the park.

October weddings hold a special place in my heart being a former Oct bride myself. For Kristen, I spent the day in 7Springs, which I always love. Then, I got to style hair for a very special bride. One of my closest friend’s Jacki got married and her beautiful style was amazing! For Caitlin, she and I didn’t meet till a few hours before she walked down the aisle and I loved how her hair turned out. The final wedding for the month had me traveling to Ebensburg for Elizabeth’s awesome wedding

I only had 3 brides for November this year but Katie and Kelly both had great wedding parties and fun hair to play with! The last wedding for the month was another dear friend of mine. Dinessa’s amazing hair and fun group of friends and family will not  easily be forgotten.

Finally came the month of December. My bride Jen gets a special shout out for being so understanding. In late September, I somehow hurt my back. Well the week before Jen’s big day, my surgeon and I decided that surgery was the best way for my pain to end. So while she and I had worked out a plan at her trial, I was unable to be there for her wedding day. My great friend and talented stylist, Nikki covered for me big time as I went under the knife. Jen rolled with these changes like a true bridal champ and she looked amazing as she walked down the aisle.

2014 was a spectacular year. I consider myself so lucky to have been a part of each of these amazing wedding days. As you can see, each one was so different and that makes my job even more fun. Thank you to everyone for choosing me to be there with you. Enjoy your time as newly weds, love each other so much and always have fun!

After looking back at this year I am so excited to see what 2015 will bring!

This weekend, I had the awesome pleasure of hanging out with bride Kathryn on her special day.

When we met for her trial not too long ago, she said that she wanted an up do for her amazing curly hair. On her wedding day, we completed this style with a breathtaking headband. It was made from the same sparkle as a belt later worn with her dress. I love all of the curls and texture. I hope you do too!

In addition to styling for Kathryn, she had some pretty great friends and family to working with as well. Here are some photos of her mom and her bridesmaids.

It was a really great day for a wedding and each of these ladies made my job easy by simply being so awesome. Congratulations to Kathryn and Erik. Thank you for choosing me to be a small part of your big day!

This passed weekend I got to meet and style hair for a lot of lovely ladies. One of them was bride-to-be Lauren and since the time we met for a trial run of her hair and makeup, I have been looking forward to her wedding day. She was such a calm and lovely bride. Plus, I can’t get over how amazing her hair piece was!

Her bridesmaids were also pretty awesome.

Thank you so much to Lauren for choosing me to be a small part of her big day. It was truly my pleasure to spend the day with such a fun group of ladies!

Last weekend, I got to hang out in McMurray with an adorable bride-to-be and it may have rained a little on Andrea’s wedding day but nothing was going to dampen the spirits of these awesome girls.

For Andrea’s style, she wanted lots of volume and some pretty braids. She decided to also add a small pink broach to her hair and it matched the color of the bridesmaid’s dresses nicely.

On Saturday, I got to hang out with Shannon as she and her bridal party were getting ready for her wedding in the Southside. I knew it was going to be a great day when she and Imet at her parent’s house in Greensburg for a trial run last month.

For her wedding hair, Shannon wanted long, soft curls and big volume as well. Her bridesmaids put it best when they said she looked like Bridal Barbie!

Each of her bridesmaids chose something a little different for their hair. They did all have a braid of some sort to tie it all together.

Thank again to Shannon for choosing me to be a part of her big day. I truly loved how everything turned out.

A couple weeks ago, I got to travel out to Prospect, PA for Maureen’s wedding at The White Barn. This venue is amazing and even through the rain, this wedding was beautifully planned!

I met with Maureen a couple months ago for a trial run. ON her wedding day we recreated a great updo for her to wear.

Each of her bridesmaids chose beautiful styles!

Aside from the beautiful bride, my favorites were her adorable nieces!

All in all, it was a really fun day. These were super nice ladies and I had a blast hanging out with them. Congratulations once more to Maureen. Thank you very much for choosing me to be a small part of such a big day!

Earlier this month, I got to spend time with Jackie and her bridal party as they got ready for her wedding day. I get the pleasure of styling some really great hair through out the year, but the style that Jackie chose for her wedding day is one of my favorites so far. I am a sucker for vintage details and her whole day was full of them!

Each of her bridesmaids picked out really great styles too!

I am so happy that I got to be a small part of Jackie’s big day. These ladies were truly a pleasure to work with. I won’t soon forget this wedding. Congratulations to Jackie. Thank you for choosing me to style your hair!

Bridal party members are some of the most fun and loving people that I get to meet while styling wedding hair. It is so fun to spend the day with a group of people that are so happy to seen their mutual friend get married.

Here I will share a few highlights of some of the bridal parties I was lucky to spend time with in 2016.

When Karley got married in May, her bridal party were each looking for a style that left hair down in super soft curls. Super cute with their dresses that day!

Another group of girls that I loved were Ashley’s bridesmaids in October. These girls were so much fun to hang out with. They all had beautiful style and they were super chill throughout the whole day!

I love when a bride knows how to relax on her wedding day and really spend time with her close friends. When Laura got married in May, it was super hot. There also may or may not have been an AC issue causing it to feel even more warm as she and her bridal party got ready on her wedding day. Rather than freak out, my friend Laura made light of everything and had a blast with her friends. I loved spending time with them all!

Another group that I loved spending time with was Andrea and her bridesmaids. These girls really loved their friend and bride to be. So much love! Plus getting to see her family was a treat. Andrea’s mom is easily the sweetest mom ever.

In July, Kailyn got married! My favorite part of her day was seeing how different each bridesmaid chose a completely different style. Even though they were different, they totally complemented  the entire wedding party look.

I don’t have group shots of each and every bridesmaid and maid of honor, but I do want to share with you a few more snap shots of some bridesmaid updos from this year!

It’s not secret that I love an updo, but I do love the challenge of finding new ways to do a half up style, or to create curls that are dramatic and beautiful!

As you can see, I have gotten to meet some amazing and beautiful ladies this year. Each one of them are a best friend, a sister, a cousin, a college roommate, or maybe a sister-in-law to be. I’m so happy to have met each one of them!

The first half of 2017 has been a super busy one. From styling hair for beautiful weddings, to cuts, color, and balayage fun at Copacetic! Here are just a few quick photos of some of the gorgeous hair that I have had the pleasure of styling so far in 2017!

You know how much I love an updo! I have also had fun finding fun and new ways to style hair half up and all the way down too!
