Early this month, I traveled in to Oakland to spend the day with bride Michelle. When she and I met a few weeks before, we tried both and up do and a half up style. So I was looking forward to seeing what she would choose to wear while walking down the aisle.

Since the weather was perfect for it, she decided to wear her long, brown hair down s large curls. We pulled a litlle bit of it back and finished the style with a veil.

Each of her bridesmaid had a different idea for their hair. It was a lot of fun helping each girl to decide how to wear their hair.

Thank you to Michelle for choosing me to be a part of such an important day. I certainly had a blast hanging out with all of these ladies!

This past weekend, I got to spend the day with Kylie on her big day. After we got together for a trial run, I was excited to style the updo that she wants to wear during her ceremony.

This past weekend, I got to spend time with bride-to-be Autumn. On Sunday, we did a trial run of her hairstyle.

She showed me several photos of updos. She knew that she wanted to wear her hair in a side updo with tons of texture throughout the entire look. Here are a few snap shots!

A couple of weeks ago, I got to spend time with Ashlea and her friends as they got ready for her to walk down the aisle on her big day.

I was really excited to style for this wedding because at her trial, Ashlea tried 3 or 4 different styles. I was pumped to see which she would decide to wear for her wedding.

She deiced to wear her long hair up and in a side updo. I loved it. Here are a few photos of her style as well as her bridal party!

Earlier this month I got to style hair for Annie and her bridesmaids as they got ready for her big day!

When she and I met in the very beginning of July, she was certain that she wanted to wear her hair half up, half down for her walk down the aisle. So on the wedding day I did just that. I really liked the sparkling clip she also had me add.

Annie was surrounded by a great group of friends that morning. I was happy to style hair for each of them. Here are a few photos of how each one styled their hair differently.

This was a super fun group of ladies. I will not soon forget the fun we had that day. Thanks to Annie for letting me be a part of such a big day. I wish you all the best for a great future with your new husband!

Late in September I got to spend the day with a fantastic bride and her bridal party as they got ready for her walk down the aisle. When Autumn and I met for her trial run, we tried a very textured, side updo. to be accented with large white flower. On the wedding day, she decided to stick with this same look and I love the way it turned out.

Each of her lovely bridesmaids choose different styles to wear.

I really enjoyed my time with these ladies. I am thankful to Autumn for choosing me to be the stylist for such an important day. All the best wishes to the bride and groom for a long, happy marriage full of love and fun!

Earlier this month I got to spend the day with Kate! She was an awesome bride and I am so happy that I got to be the stylist for her wedding day.

When she and I met a couple months ago, she had this beautiful head piece on a ribbon that she wanted to wear in her hair. We tried an updo with tons of texture and a braid running along one side. On the big day, we recreated this look and I couldn’t have loved it more.

 

 

Each of her bridesmaids choose a different style that suited them best. I love the uniqueness of each of them.

 

 

 

This was a great wedding day and I am so happy to have been a part of it. I won’t soon forget the details of this beautiful day. Thank you to Kate for letting me be a small part of this very big day.

It is hard to believe that another year as come to a close. 2013 was a busy and fun year. I got the pleasure of getting to know over 30 brides in ’13.

It was fun to see how each of my brides had such a different vision for their big days. I am a very lucky person to get to know such lovely ladies and spend time with them on their very special day.

Looking forward into 2014, many brides have been getting a jump start on their planning. I am excited to start off wedding season early this year with winter wedding in January!

I will be taking some time off in the spring. At that time, I will be spending time with my husband and son as we welcome the newest member of our family to the world. Very excited to meet the newest baby boy in just a few months.

After that, things take off at full speed with a very full June and the rest of summer and early fall filling up quickly. In fact, 2015 brides are already getting into the planning groove.

I look forward to seeing what this year will bring. What kind of styles everyone will love. Mostly, I am excited spend time with so many brides on the happiest day.

A very big thank you to all of my past brides and to the brides I will get to know this year and next.

This weekend Nicole got married and I got to spend the day with the lovely bride and many of her friends as they got ready to walk down the aisle.

Nicole and I met a few weeks ago for a trial run. She shared with me some inspiration photos. Her ideal style was an updo set low and off to the right side. On the morning of the big day, we did just that and accented the style with two delicate lace clips.

Overall, it was a really fun day. I was happy to be a part of her day and I loved the way everyone’s hair turned out.  All the best wishes to the newlyweds as they begin their married life together! Thanks for Nicole for choosing me to be her hair stylist!

At the end of June, I got to spend time with an awesome bride to be. Karrie was an out of town bride who grew up in Pittsburgh. We met for a trial the week before and she decided on an updo. She also asked for each of her bridesmaids to have a low updo set on the right side. Here are some pics!

This year on Independence Day, I got to spend the morning with awesome bride Jackie as she and her bridal party got ready for the big day!

When Jackie and I met for a trial in June, she had decided to wear her hair in bug curls with the front pinned back. On the big day, she wore a veil and a small white flower with that style.

 

 

Jackie also had a really fun bridal party. Each one of her bridesmaids choose a different updo.

 

 

I even got to do a lovely style for her sweet flower girl!

 

Overall it was a great day. I am happy to have been a small part of Jackie’s wedding day!

Earlier this month I got the wonderful pleasure of working with bride-to-be Connie. When we met for a trial run in May, we discussed putting her hair into a low set updo on the left side of her head.

On the day of the wedding, the style turned out lovely and she chose to accent it with a beautiful feathery fascinator.

 

 

I also go to spend time with some of Connie’s family. Here are some photos of the great styles I got to do for them.

 

 

It was truly an awesome day and I am lucky to have been a small part of it. The creativity that Connie brought to the details of her wedding day was inspiring. She even made these adorable buttons for me!

Today was Lindsay’s wedding day and I was very happy to be the stylist for her and the large group of awesome bridesmaids that she spent the day with. These ladies were a super fun time.

Lindsay was an out of town bride. Doing all of her wedding planning from Philadelphia. So we met several months ago for a trial run. At that time we discussed a low updo. Today, it turned out even better! She wore this very classic look with an amazing gown.

 

 

 

Lindsay had a very large and fun bridal party. Here are some of the styles her bridesmaid chose to wear as the stood by her as she said “I do.”

 

 

Lindsay’s big day was a lot of fun. I am happy to have been a part of it.

In late July, I got the awesome pleasure to style hair for Leslie on her wedding day. I am very lucky to meet all of the brides that I do, but Leslie and I became quick friends! When we met in June for a trial run, we talked about pulling her very, very long hair up into a curly, textured up do. She also had a couple sparkly headbands to try in her hair.

On the big day we did just that. The up do was very low set on the back of her head and full of so many curls. Unfortunately, in the excitement of the day, I don’t have a single picture of the bride! (I’m such a slacker! ha!) I have emailed Leslie, and I hope to share a photo or two with you in the near future.

 

Until then, I would love to share some photos of her awesome bridal party. Each of them was quite unique in their choice of style, but as a group they were so much fun!

 

 

This wedding was super fun and will easily be remembered by me for a long time! Thanks you Leslie for letting me be a small part of such a big day. When I get a photo or two of this awesome bride, I will be sure to share them!

At the start of August, I got to spend the day with Laura and her friends and family as they got ready to stand next to this awesome bride on her wedding day.

When we met for a trial run in July, I knew that this day was going to be super fun and laid back. On the morning of the wedding, I traveled out to Butler County earing in the morning of what was to be a beautiful summer day.

Laura has awesome, curly red hair. On the day of she wanted to feel like herself, so we put her hair in long cascading curls falling down on her shoulders. She also decided to wear a simple head band and a veil for the big day.

Near the beginning of August, I got to travel to one of my favorite places to style hair for Ashley’s wedding day. The drive out to Seven Springs is always enjoyable for me and I always have a ton of fun out there. Ashley’s wedding was no different.

When Ashley and I met back in June for her trial, we tried a few different things but she was certain that she wanted her hair in an up do. I loved the way her hair turned out on the wedding day.

 

She had a really great bunch of girls to stand by her as she said her vows. Each of them choose a very different style but each turned out really great.

 

It really was another beautiful day out at Seven Springs and I was very happy to be a part of Ashley’s big day. Thanks again for choosing me to be a part of such a special occasion. All the best wishes for a beautiful life together!

Back in July, I met birde-to-be Megan for a trial run of her hair. She told me about wanting to have a clean, classic updo for her wedding day.

Last month, I was lucky to style for her, her family and friends for her wedding day. Megan had decided to have the classy updo worn on the side along with a beautiful hair clip.

On the last Friday of August, I spent time with Rhiannon on her wedding day. I will never forget that these awesome ladies were watching Bridezilla episodes as they were getting ready.

Rhiannon however,  was not even close to a Bridezilla. She was calm, happy and well-organized. When we met for her trial we tried several different styles. On the big day, she chose to wear her hair in a great updo.

 

 

 

 

 

Even her bridal party was awesome. You could really feel the love that these ladies had for their friend on that day. Each of them chose a totally different hair style.
